Tara Cassidy hasthought about our precious native wildlife and how vulnerable they are,the Kereru was drawn in 2016, and is signed by her.

She is based in West Auckland and works mainly in pencils, depicting our native species. Growing up as a Westie with freedom to explore her parents gardens and climb the neighbourhood trees she got to know the local animals and plants. This curiosity about nature lead her to study in the field of science which changed to a Bachelor of Fine Arts and now she continues to be inspired by the wildlife of Aotearoa.
